The FirmTek ThunderTek/PX2+2 provides outstanding performance with SATA hard disks and 6G SSD devices. RAID 0 SSD average Read performance of 708MB/sec. can be achieved when using two SSDs mounted on the SeriTek/6G2+2 card. The ThunderTek/PX2+2 offers an ultra high performance adapter for mounting internal 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD over a Thunderbolt port PLUS it offers two more eSATA ports for expansion. This new product allows customers to mount their existing eSATA devices over Thunderbolt, whether it be on the new 2013 Mac Pro or 2012 or any other Thunderbolt equipped computer. The ThunderTek/PX2+2 adapter allows customers to continue using their existing legacy eSATA devices while enjoying all the benefits of Thunderbolt.
